Our story began with this lady, Miranda Christopher and her wealth of experience leading and delivering transformational change.
Miranda describes herself as "a bit of a nerd", first it was mathematics, then systems and processes and finally people.
She says she had a light bulb moment back in 1996 when she figured out that people, teams and organisations were each a “system”, each with its own processes and culture.
Figure those out and you have the keys to successful people transformation.
It led to the 'ABC of change'. And as a qualified and experienced adult teacher and coach, Miranda was able to use this simple approach to create efficient and effective interventions that ensured the benefits and return on investment were met.
Miranda practically implemented her approach with FTSE 100 organisations as well as public sector bodies. She became known as a “troubleshooter” for Transformation Challenges. It was when Miranda repeatedly heard the phrase from directors that managing people in transformation was like “herding cats”, she knew the ABC of change had to be a firm foundation for success. And it was. It led to creating the early version of The Stakeholder Journey™ back in 2004.
In 2014, Miranda experienced life changing burnout that took quite some time to recover from ; it impacted her self-image and confidence. However, Miranda being Miranda, always having a natural curiosity for learning set herself on the journey of diving deeper into the self-image and understanding of what makes people tick. It took her on a journey of personal branding, style and discovering how neuroplasticity and epigenetics can be combined to effect transformational change.
Her interest in issues such as Gender Pay Gap, The Self-Imposed Glass Ceiling and Women Charging their Worth grew, and she had another light bulb moment back in 2015, that the ABC of Change was applicable, it’s the situation that had changed!
